Susan Harden has served on the Jamboree board since 2011 and holds positions on the Finance and Community Impact Committees. She is an urban planner with a broad background in community development and planning.
In her current role as Vice President at Circlepoint, she leads a team of talented group of community planners, communications experts, graphic designers, and facilitators. Susan has a particular focus on community-based planning processes, developing innovative public participation programs for a myriad of project types, including those focused on community revitalization and land use, transportation, water, and sustainability.
Susan has always been interested in both seeing the world and being of service. Susan volunteered with the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa and with the AmeriCorps National Service Program in Kansas City. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Architectural Studies and Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas, and a master’s degree in Environmental Planning from Arizona State University.
